Your journey to health
90-min initial consultation and treatment
Take your time to tell me your health concerns and receive a relaxing first acupuncture treatment and a clear care pathway ahead.
Acupuncture for You
Each follow-up treatment is designed to restore your body and mind, easing pain and relieving stress. Along with acupuncture, you receive supporting therapies and lifestyle advice, such as nutritional guidance and acupressure techniques.
Acupuncture MOT
Why leave it until you feel awful to visit the clinic? Lovingly termed your ‘Acupuncture MOT’, preventive healthcare with regular acupuncture helps to avoid chronic pain and unmanageable health issues.
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine, sterile needles throughout the meridians of the body to restore balance and improve energy flow and vitality. Modern research suggests that acupuncture influences the nervous system, enhances circulation, and releases endorphins, which help to reduce pain, calm the mind, and support overall well-being. A deeply relaxing and restorative experience, it addresses not only presenting symptoms but their root cause. Simply put, it reminds the body of its natural ability to heal.
What to expect
After a warm welcome, your first appointment begins with an in-depth consultation. We will explore your health concerns and observe pulse and tongue before curating an individualised acupuncture treatment. You’ll then enter the treatment sanctuary and relax on a heated bed to receive your first acupuncture. At the end of your first session, you’ll be given some natural healthcare advice and a clear care pathway ahead. Consultation and treatment last approximately 1.5 hours.
Follow-up treatments include a shorter consultation followed by acupuncture. I may also include complementary therapies such as cupping or electroacupuncture. These are 1 hour in duration. Once your specific health concerns are alleviated, preventative healthcare is offered to tonify and nourish the body, supporting longevity.
