Ear Acupuncture

Think of the ear as a microcosm of the body. Placing tiny, sterile points in each ear, Ear Acupuncture or Auriculotherapy can benefit health issues such as insomnia, anxiety and stress, brain fog, menopausal symptoms, including hot flushes and night sweats, and assists in detoxification processes. Research also supports the use of auricular acupuncture to reduce the side effects of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. Patients report symptoms such as hot flushes, and ear acupuncture helps to regulate the nervous system. Enter a warm and welcoming treatment room to experience ear acupuncture, a relaxing hand and foot acupressure massage and finally placement of 24k gold-plated ear seeds to carry on the self-care at home.

How it works

By placing tiny needles on specific points on the ear, the treatment sends signals to the brain that help rebalance the nervous system and encourage the body’s natural healing response.

These signals can help calm stress pathways, reduce pain signals, support organ function, and promote overall relaxation. Because the ear is rich in nerves connected to the brain and body, stimulating these points can create fast and noticeable effects. Parts of the outer ear connect to branches of the vagus nerve, trigeminal, and cervical nerves. Stimulating specific points may influence autonomic nervous system activity, reducing sympathetic activation or the “fight-or-flight” response. It promotes better temperature regulation and reduces sudden vasodilation. This shift in autonomic balance may dampen the intensity and frequency of symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats. Ear acupuncture can also stimulate the release of endorphins and serotonin, affect thermoregulation, mood, and stress.
