NCA Acupuncture Award for Clinical Excellence
I lived in Asia for 15 years, immersing myself in holistic health; learning from Buddhist monks, Balinese healers, and meditation gurus. When I finally returned to the UK, I joked that I had dragged Asia back with me. After 4 years of study at the renowned Northern College of Acupuncture (NCA) in York, I now hold a first-class BSc Honours Degree in Acupuncture and an ‘Acupuncture Award for Clinical Excellence’. Those Asian years shaped my acupuncture clinic, so when patients arrive, they comment on the divine smell, sound, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Drawing on time-honoured traditions, each acupuncture treatment is aligned with a patient’s individual concerns. I may use electroacupuncture, cupping, gua-sha, moxa, Indian head or acupressure massage within treatments, and the clinic’s double-headed heat lamp is the real star of the show. I also hold specialisms in Cosmetic Acupuncture to refresh the face from the inside out and Ear Acupuncture with 24k gold-plated Ear Seeds.
